The picturesque village of Podbanské, dominated by the majestic Tatra peak Kriváň ( 2 494 m above sea level), is located on the border of the High and Western Tatras.

Even though the accommodation facilities are not far from each other, you can use the attractive "Permon Express" train, or modern, nature-friendly electric cars , or the hotel's minibus for comfortable transportation.

Permon Resort offers a pleasant mountain environment surrounded by beautiful nature, the immediate proximity of forests and meadows and the smell of fresh mountain air. The Podbanské area and its surroundings are intertwined with many cycling routes of varying difficulty. Depending on your taste and fitness, you can choose easier, recreational routes as well as longer routes with higher elevation. The Grand Hotel Permon**** even provides bike rental serviceso if you leave yours at home due to lack of space when travelling, it doesn't matter at all. You can rent a CUBE or KELLYS mountain bike or a top of the range electric bike (mountain or trekking). Rely on the personal approach of the staff, helmet and stroller rental for children is a matter of course. We'll set up your bike to suit you and will be happy to advise you on tips for a nice bike trip. Guided bike tours can be booked for a fee.
