In winter, when snowflakes cover the ground and trees like a light duvet, you will find first-class cross-country skiing trails in the vicinity of Podbanské and in the immediate vicinity you will be welcomed by ski resort Permon SKI. Thanks to the less demanding slopes there are ideal conditions for all ages. Families with children will find their family ski paradise here.
For the fans of the "white track" (cross-country skiing), there is the long Tichá and Kôprová valley, as well as the "Tatra Trail" passing through the settlement. Also interesting is the mostly groomed circuit from the road bridge along the Belá River through the Kokava meadows to Liptovská Kokava.
In winter, you can enjoy sledding, but also skating on the ice rink at the Annex Pinius, and since it is illuminated, you can also skate in the evening.
